Biswanka Responds to Deadbeat Father Claims, Says He Never Wanted the Child

Date:

Rising singer Biswanka Derick has addressed criticism, tagging him as a deadbeat father

For some time now, Shibah has openly called out Biswanka, accusing him of impregnating her and abandoning her with their child. She appeared on different media channels, especially TikTok, claiming that the singer was not fulfilling his responsibilities as a father.

Addressing the claims, Biswanka took to Facebook to explain that he was the baby’s father but made it clear he didn’t want to have a child in the first place.

He claimed that after they were together, he gave Shibah money to take the emergency pill, something she refused to do.

When he learnt that she had conceived, he advised her to terminate the pregnancy because he felt he was not ready to bring a child into this world. Shibah, however, refused to heed his advice and went ahead and gave birth, forcing Biswanka to abandon her.

Biswanka claimed that in many interviews, Shibah kept insulting him and rubbing it in his face that she would singlehandedly take care of the child. To his surprise, however, she continued asking him for help.

“If I tell you I don’t want a kid and you insist because you want to give birth to a child for a celeb, at the end of it all u give birth, then proceed in the media asking for help. You ate the pill money, whose fault was that? As a person I also need help, how can I help you? I told you to abort the child and even gave you money, but you instead ate chips.  You want to give birth to a celebrity who has not asked you to,” read part of the post.
