Renowned Ugandan singer Biswanka Derick has opened up about his ongoing personal life challenges, hinting that he may change his son’s name following a strained relationship with the baby mama.
In a statement posted on the singer’s Facebook account, he revealed that he had initially named his son after himself, Biswanka Junior, but is considering changing the name to Samanya, citing the misunderstanding with the mother.
He noted that, despite the name change, he still considers the kid his own and is ready to fulfill his fatherly role. The singer further addressed the baby mama’s financial pressure, and repeated planned attacks on him, with the culprits making off with his belongings
Biswanka made it known that he is currently grappling with kidney-related health challenges, which have significantly affected his appearance.
He stressed that the weight gain that came with the kidney failure has since been misinterpreted by the public, with many linking it to a well-off lifestyle.

Despite the health challenges, Biswanka revealed that he has sought public sympathy or support, choosing to focus on recovery and work.
Many of u knew when I got a kid and I had given him my own names as Biswanka Derrick junior as a sign to show how much I had picked interest in the kid but unfortunately am here to let u know that because of the misunderstandings growing up between me and the some what dense mother who is always setting up thugs to hit me up and ask me money on pressure yet we didn’t plan to have a kid together coz she came to me as a sex worker, gave her the 40 k as we had agreed that she had to take an emergency pill which is all by gone I accept the fact that the kid is innocent. . Am changing the name now the kid is called “ saamanya “ then the given name any one can call him whatever name they want he remains my kid but names changing to saamanya when tym reaches i will get a good and understanding woman to give birth to Biswanka junior coz have tried a lot to explain this gal that am going through a lot
