Bebe Cool has spoken about the last time he met his longstanding nemesis, Bobi Wine, saying he was set up to hug and share the same table with him.
Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine made news years back after they met at Eddy Kenzo’s 10th music anniversary. The two hugged and shook hands, making people believe that they had buried the hatchet.
During his radio interview, however, Bebe Cool revealed he was set up to meet Bobi Wine for the event to dominate headlines. He revealed that he bought his own table to attend the concert and told the promoter he would sit behind to help him leave the venue earlier without attracting attention.
As he was enjoying the show, someone brought to his attention that the Katikiro of Buganda, who was also in attendance, wanted to rub shoulders; little did he know that Bobi Wine was also seated at the same table.
“Someone came to tell me that Katikiro was calling me, and since I do not disrespect bigger people, I went, but I didn’t know that Bobi Wine was on the same table. I went over to greet him, but when I got up, people started screaming. I only saw Bobi Wine after I went over there,” he said.

Bebe further noted that he wouldn’t have gone if he had known that his enemy was in the same space and believes it was a setup.
“I felt I had been set up. Many times, they have tried setting me up to sit with Bobi Wine. If it wasn’t for Katikiro, who told me to sit there, I would have moved. Rasta never makes mistakes,” he said.
