Baby Gloria, real name Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, has opened up about some of the realities of marriage she has witnessed since walking down the aisle with her husband, Jonas Mbaleka.
The couple tied the knot two months ago, and for the time they have been together, she has been introduced to a life she didn’t expect.
Gloria was a guest on a podcast, where she compared life before and after marriage. Among the things she found challenging was being married for life, staying together despite disagreements. Initially, she confessed that she had lived a life of walking in and out of relationships at the slightest inconvenience, something she could not do in marriage.
When you are a girlfriend, use all your security. The fact that you always jump out and jump back in use it, because the moment they tie that knot, you are not getting out, whether you are annoyed or not.
You are there for life. I loved the freedom of knowing I could always leave and choose something else, but now I know I’m in this for life. It teaches you to make the right decision.
Another challenge she addressed was that the smooth running of her household depended entirely on her, especially with the chores. She had to cook and clean almost every day without anyone’s help.

What do you mean, I have to mop this house every day? I realized I cannot be doing my nails, they are so expensive, and I have to wring the rug every day. I will look for smart mops on TikTok that do not require me to wring them by hand. Just be a smart wife because you realize the dishes and the food are all looking at you. Thank God, I love hand-cooking for people and getting compliments.
Despite all this, Baby Gloria stays grateful that she chose her friend, who is willing to support her through it all. She further revealed that she is comfortable cooking and caring for her home because she always receives good compliments.
