Swangz Avenue singer Azawi has called out the older generation of artists for practicing witchcraft and trying to sabotage the careers of the younger generation.
Azawi, while appearing on a local podcast with Frank Ntambi, gave her two cents about the state of the music industry, which she says is highly influenced by witchcraft.
She declared that the many artists, especially the ones who started music before them, out of fear of losing their fame to the younger generation, resort to practicing witchcraft to stay relevant.
Azawi further expressed her concern that these same artists are envious and in competition with younger artists, whom they do not wish well. Instead of supporting and encouraging the younger ones, they have discouraged them and secretly wished for their failure in their careers.
With this toxicity, Azawi advised the budding artists to stay in their lane and deal with their fellows, as the older ones had nothing but hatred and envy.

Musicians practise witchcraft, especially the older ones. I want to advise younger ones to stay clear of them. First of all, they do not wish others well. Secondly, they are thieves, and lastly, these people are witches. Musicians bewitch each other. How do you think they have survived the industry for this long? Those who came before us are very weird. They are devils.
