Ava Peace Teases New EP Featuring Joshua Baraka, Says Working With Him Transformed Her View on Music

Date:

Singer Ava Peace has opened up about her collaboration with Joshua Baraka, praising him as the best artist she has ever worked with.

Ava Peace was recently at producer Axon’s studio in Kololo working on their collaboration, and shared her experience with Baraka, describing it as nothing short of breathtaking. She said it was beautiful, and the equipment that she found in the studio blew her away.

The Team No Sleep singer revealed that she had a good time during their session because Joshua and his producer were so passionate about their work. She noted that it was the first time she had worked with a musician who gave her such an ambiance and feeling.

“It was so beautiful. Their things are very good and legit. It is a new feeling, and it feels good working with people in the same age bracket who love what they do. They are so passionate about it.

I had never seen this; I loved it so much. It was a different experience, especially how they feel about the song and everything. I have worked with different artists, but this was a different feel. I think they were right that he is the biggest Ugandan export. It felt so international,” Ava said.

Sharing what influenced their collaboration, Ava Peace noted that the discussions began one night when she was performing at Nonie Vie. After she came off stage, she met her manager, Jeff Kiwa, chilling with Joshua Baraka and Etania, and they let her know that the deal had been sealed.
