Musician Ameria Nambala has joined the list of good Samaritans willing to bail out events promoter Biggie Events, who was remanded at Luzira prison over an uncleared loan of over 70 million.
Ameria, in a YouTube interview, expressed her sympathy for the unfortunate incident that befell one of the industry’s notable female promoters.
Despite not crossing paths before, Ameria revealed that she was helping her out because she was a hustling woman trying to earn a living.
Speaking to Biggie’s mother on the phone, Amelia promised to contribute Ugx 5 million and was directed to give it to former Obsessions singer Jackie Tusiime.
I do not know Biggie, and we have never been friends. But she is my fellow woman, and I know the money that sent her to jail was for working.

Amelia’s contribution comes shortly after Spice Diana also promised to bail out the incarcerated promoter. She is expected to serve up to at least six months or choose to settle the loan.
