Alien Skin Cuts Ties With NRM Officials

Date:

Ugandan musician Alien Skin, born Patrick Mulwana, has announced on social media that he is severing all ties with officials from the National Resistance Movement (NRM). The “Sitya Danger” hitmaker made it clear in a post on X that, moving forward, NRM officials are no longer welcome in his personal or professional spaces.

This announcement has fueled speculation about Alien Skin’s relationship with the government. While some have suggested that the singer may have benefited from state funding and protection, particularly in light of his controversial behavior, Alien Skin has consistently denied such allegations. He remains adamant that his decision to cut ties with NRM officials is a personal one and not the result of any political connections.

“From today onward, NRM officials are not welcome in my home, office, or any part of my space unless you’re a fan. Those who booked me for your political campaigns, can come and collect your money back. I will no longer be associating with NRM officials in any capacity.” This statement marks a significant shift in the artist’s relationship with the ruling party, quickly capturing the attention of his fans and political observers.

As fans and critics react to the news, one thing remains clear: Alien Skin’s declaration adds another complex layer to his public image, leaving many to wonder whether this marks the beginning of a new phase in his career or merely another twist in his already unpredictable journey.
