Nasty Accident Leaves 3 Injured In Namboole

Three people have been injured in a road crash that happened today morning on the 1st November, 2024 at Namboole flyover, Kireka-Bweyogerere road.

It involved motor vehicles UBG 615A Nissan Fuga and UAX 036F Toyota Hiace. According to preliminary reports, the Nissan driver traveling from Bweyogerere to Kireka collided with the Toyota Hiace traveling in the opposite direction amidst heavy rainfall injuring 03 people including both drivers and a passenger in Nissan.

 The impact also caused the Nissan to catch fire. The fire brigade responded promptly, extinguishing the fire and preventing further damage.

 The Toyota driver was rushed to Gwatilo Hospital, while the Nissan driver was referred to Nakasero Hospital for medical attention. Both vehicles have been towed to Bweyogerere Police Station for further investigation.
